The “Once Upon A Spring” Celebration is in full swing at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, located in Kissimmee, Florida and I can guarantee you won’t want to miss it! We were lucky enough to receive two #hosted nights at this beautiful property to check out their spring event and it did not disappoint! The event was jam-packed with family-friendly seasonal activities that were simply perfect for celebrating the season!
If you aren’t familiar with Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, you are truly missing out! This property is simply stunning and hands-down my favorite resort to stay at in the Central Florida area! They not only have their own Cypress Springs Water Park on property, but also have a lush 4.5 acre atrium, nine award-winning restaurants, various bars, a world-class Spa, and state-of-the-art fitness center on property. There is truly something for EVERYONE in your visiting family to enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that the property is located within minutes of your favorite Central Florida theme parks?!

Paint Me A Fairytale Interactive Show: Bursts of color and flashes of magic bring classic fairytales to life in this interactive storytelling adventure. Be drawn into the magic as Mother Goose herself paints to life some of your storybook favorites, including Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and The Beanstalk, and The Princess and The Pea in this live stage show.
My little one adored this show and how interactive it was! If you have a little one who loves fairytales, this show is for you!
I absolutely loved that at the end of the ‘Paint Me A Fairytale” interactive show each attending child was given a complimentary watercolor paint set and watercolor storybook to paint! Such a beautiful touch to an already fun show!

Blossomin’ Bunnies Scavenger Hunt: Eight rascally rabbits have bounced into the blossoms throughout the 4.5-acre garden atrium, and it's up to super springtime sleuths to use clues to find where these hares have hidden! We LOVED that this scavenger hunt comes with a sheet of eight stickers (one for each hidden bunny) instead of a pencil or crayon to use when you locate a bunny! It made it much easier to handle while walking around searching the property and I felt it kept my little one engaged because what 4-year-old isn’t obsessed with stickers?
Stickers are provided in place of a pencil to indicate when you’ve located a hidden bunny! Genius!
My 4-year-old LOVED searching the property for the hidden bunnies and equally enjoyed carrying the page of stickers used or when we found one!

Journey Into Spring Escape Room: Amidst the bright hues of a dreamlike garden setting, participants work together to solve riddles, find hidden keys, and unlock the mysteries and secrets of the season.

Cookie Decorating: Sweet springtime treats are ready to adorn and achieve confection perfection! Decorate delicious cookies and take them home to enjoy in this creative, interactive hands-on activity. My girl also LOVED that the Easter Bunny made a surprise visit during our time spent cookie decorating!
Seeing the Easter Bunny was definitely the highlight of cookie decorating for my girl!

In addition to various seasonal activities that require ticket purchases, Gaylord Palms also overs various FREE activities during this seasonal event, such as:
Eggspression Garden: Larger-than-life Easter eggs and bouquets of blossoms highlight this themed walkthrough experience. Along the way, guests will find plenty of springtime photo spots for that perfect picture to share with friends and family. This was one of our favorite parts of the seasonal event! The various large painted eggs were a complete hit for my 4-year-old and also for myself since I LOVE the various beautiful photo opportunities it provided!

Springtime Light Display: A kaleidoscope of color paints the atrium ceiling went he sun goes down, as newly upgraded and animated light curtains fill the sky with brightly blooming flowers, richly hued rabbits, springtime shooting stars, and other symbols of the season.
This was pure magic to watch from our balcony each night!
Adventure Kids: Bedtime Bunny Tales: Adventure Kid Sophie reads Beatrix Potter’s classic “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” for a very special bedtime story on your in-room TV. Enjoy the classic tale while Sophie adds some real-world knowledge about rabbits, plants, nature and more!
Adventure Kids: Sprout Into Spring: Young explorers are invited to join Seth the Sea Turtle, Ava the Alligator, and everyone’s favorite Adventure Kid, Sophie, on an interactive journey through the Gaylord Palms atrium to discover the wonders of the springtime season.
