Alright guys, lets chat about another amazing resort in the Orlando area that was gracious enough to host my little family for two nights- Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa!

First and foremost, it’s important to note that when you make a reservation on this property, you are not booking a standard hotel room, they are actually condominium style suites! Yes! suites! That means SOOOO much more space for your family to relax and unwind after a day at the theme parks or playing at the pool!

This property offers a variety of suites to accommodate every family size from :

1 bedroom/1 bath suites, 2 bedroom/2 bath suites, 3 bedroom/2 bath suites

3 bedroom/3 bath suites, 4 bedroom/4 bath standard suite, 4 bedroom/4 bath large suite

For my small family of three, we were more than comfortable in a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. We absolutely loved having a full kitchen, living room, dining area, washer/dryer and full-size balcony. The suite was absolutely perfect and honestly MORE space than we even needed. Check out how our 2 bed/2 bath suite looked:

Now let’s discuss property amenities! LBV Resort Village & Spa offers quite a few amenities to make your stay enjoyable including the coolest “Pirate’s Plunge” pool, a relaxation pool, outdoor playground, game room, fitness center, convenience store, onsite spa, and even a theme park shuttle!

With a little one in tow, we spent a lot of time at the Pirate’s Plunge pool! It was an absolute blast and my little one LOVED the giant pirate ship! There was plenty of seating options in the shade and also sun, making relaxing in the pool area very comfortable. My only criticism of the pool would be that the water was VERY cold and I wished it was kept warmer. When in direct sunlight it felt great, but if it was overcast or not super hot out, it was definitely pretty chilly. Just something to keep in mind.

LBV Resort Village & Spa also has three dining options on site including a Pizza Hut, Franke Farell’s Irish Pub and the poolside bar and grill. The poolside bar and grill is located at the Pirate’s Plunge pool and offers breakfast in the morning and a lunch menu that you can order from until they close around 8PM. It’s also important to note that at this pool you are NOT allowed to bring in coolers or any outside food or drink at all.

We enjoyed dinner at Franke Farell’s Irish Pub on our first night on property but then honestly went to Publix which is located just a few minute drive away and purchased items to prepare our breakfast, lunch and dinner within our suite the next day. Having a full kitchen within your room is definitely amazing and a great way to save money on food and drinks. I highly recommend doing this, especially if you are traveling with a larger family.

My husband also had the opportunity to enjoy the amazing spa on property. I was genuinely impressed at the wide variety of services the 12,000 spa offered including kids makeovers! My husband had a deep tissue massage and genuinely loved every minute of it! If you have the time to spend enjoying a relaxing service at the spa, I highly recommend it!

The best part? LBV Resort Village & Spa is located only about 10 minutes from Disney, 20 from SeaWorld and roughly 30 minutes from Universal.

In a nutshell, we LOVED our stay at LBV Resort Village & Spa. The condominium style suites are AMAZING and truly make your stay SO much nicer. Having extra space to relax and unwind after a fun-filled day was truly a game-changer and made all the difference in the world for our stay. Also, the Pirate’s Plunge pool is amazing for kiddos and the complimentary theme park shuttle is fantastic! If your goal is to visit local theme parks or simply relax and unwind at a great property with a beautiful spa, this is the place for you!
