Alright guys, we visited the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate and spent two AMAZING nights on property with our friends and absolutely loved every minute of it. Let’s dive right into all of the reasons why this property is ideal for a family visiting Central Florida theme parks or someone who simply would love a great getaway spent poolside relaxing and golfing!

The Omni Orlando Resort At ChampionsGate is a property surrounded by 36 holes of championship golf and 15 acres of recreation, our Four Diamond rated resort in Orlando, Florida is one of the nation's premier golf, meeting and leisure destinations. In addition to world-class golf, our resort offers a signature full-service spa, sparkling pools and a lazy river, making our Orlando resort the perfect getaway for adults and children alike. With easy access to area attractions like Walt Disney World® Resort, Universal Studios and SeaWorld, enjoy all that Orlando has to offer and then retire to our secluded retreat [Description taken directly from the Omni website].

Let’s talk accomodations shall we? According to the resort’s website there are SO many options for room selection. Seriously, they have more than 1,000 rooms and suites on property and even offer two and three bedroom villas!

For our two night stay on property we were in a standard room with two queen-sized beds and a balcony that faces the pool area. The room was a perfect size for my small family of three and we also loved how cute the bathroom was decorated! The resort made sure to make our arrival extra special with an adorable kids bag of goodies and cute bear perched on one of the beds for my little one and amazing snack & drink assortment for our family! How awesome?!

Now that we’ve seen a standard room, let’s right along to the amazing dining options on property. This resort offers 9 different options for dining. The property is large with a ton of variety to keep everyone in your party happy and satisfied. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Trevi's Terrazza which is an Italian restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful and the menu was pretty wide, truly having something for everyone. I can honestly say with 100% certainty that this was THE BEST breakfast buffet I have ever seen at ANY RESORT in Central Florida. From the honeycomb and fresh-squeezed juices to the donut and pastry assortment and the freshly made omelets and SO MUCH MORE. This buffet was a 10/10 and then some!

At Trevi’s you can enjoy the breakfast buffet or order straight from the menu. I HIGHLY suggest the breakfast buffet as the options are endless, fresh and downright DELICIOUS. The price was also better than other comparable resorts, which was surprising since this buffet was so much better than others I have tried! The head chef and all of the restaurant staff we chatted with were warm, knowledgable and very friendly. I usually don’t rave about meals we’ve had at resorts, but this one definitely deserves a lot of praise and then some!

As if we didn’t love Trevi’s enough, we were also thrilled to find out that every Saturday at 3PM, Trevi’s hosts a complimentary childrens pizza-making class! The head chef provides everything your little one(s) needs to make their very own pizza, complete with pepperoni topping! The best part? You get to keep and enjoy your delicious, personal pizza! I HIGHLY recommend! We enjoyed taking a moment away from the pool to participate in this fun activity and the head chef even allowed my Hubby and friend Jenna to participate as well. We also enjoyed the complimentary sangria that was set-up just outside of Trevi’s Terrazza from 3PM-4PM. Don’t miss out!

Now that i’ve praised how incredible Trevi’s is, let’s chat about the spectacular property! As you will see below, the entire outdoor space on this property is simply gorgeous and serene. This property has an incredible variety of large pools, a lazy river, water slides, whirlpools, and Orlando's only resort wave pool! They also offer private cabanas for rent and even have an adults only 18+ pool! There are SO many options to keep everyone in your family happy for a weekend or weekday well spent at the Omni!

We wasted no time getting comfortable and cozy in our private cabana that we enjoyed for the entire day with our friends. Each cabana features a mini fridge full of beverages, a flat screen TV, ceiling fans and a server to take your food and drink orders. There were two lounge chairs inside of the cabana and two directly outside of it under an umbrella with a little table, making it perfect for our two families. Our cabana was facing the wave pool which was also absolutely perfect since my little one favored this area the most out of all of the pools on property. We also received two complimentary mocktails and a fruit tray, which we all thoroughly enjoyed.

After enjoying all of the pools and lazy river, we spent a lot of time enjoying the additional outdoor amenities the property offers such as the basketball court, the playground and even relaxed by the fire pit with smores when the sun went down! The deli/cafe on the ground floor sells a variety of drinks, snacks and even smores kits, which was a perfect way to end our day.

We also made sure to stop by the outdoor bar near the fire pit for a cocktail to sip on while at the fire pit. It was perfect!

In a nutshell, I would give this incredible resort a SOLID 10/10. We truly loved every second on property and would go back as soon as possible. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and felt taken care of. The selection of pools was amazing, our cabana was perfect, the breakfast buffet was REMARKABLE and the complimentary pizza-making class was a hit! If you are looking for an incredibly family-friendly resort in the Central Florida area, I can with certainly recommend Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay so much, you’ll likely plan a second visit before you even leave the property!
