Are you looking for a fun and magical holiday event in Florida your whole family would enjoy? I have just the place for you- LEGOLAND! Did you know that LEGOLAND has an amazing holiday event with an assortment of activities and experiences? My family had the wonderful opportunity of enjoying two nights on property at LEGOLAND Hotel in addition to spending one day at the LEGOLAND theme park to experience all of the Christmas magic they have to offer! Before we get into all of the fun details of the holiday event, let’s discuss staying on property in their amazing hotel!

In the past, we have stayed in the “Pirate Island Hotel” portion of the property and had an incredible experience! This time, we stayed in “LEGOLAND Hotel” in a “Castle Theme” room and it did not disappoint! We loved it and my husband loved the nostalgic feeling it brought back of his childhood, playing with his castle LEGO sets!

How cool is this separate kids area in the hotel room? It even has a trundle bed underneath!

Honestly, the hotel is an experience in it’s own! You can truly have an INCREDIBLE time staying at this property and never leaving it and your family would likely thoroughly enjoy it! There are SO many fun things to do, most of which are complimentary and included with your stay. I truly can not praise this hotel enough, it’s better than most and 100% geared towards children. From the additional toilet seats for little ones, lower sinks that kiddos can reach, separate bunk bed areas, free workshops, free shows, AMAZING heated pools, and a plethora of LEGO’s to play with almost everywhere, its truly a one of a kind hotel experience!

The pool is not only heated, it has an amazing waterslide and floating, buildable LEGO’s!

My girl had a blast building “swords” out of LEGO’s while playing in the castle play area!

This fun play area is within the castle in the main lobby/bar area! There are always LEGO’s everywhere!

Dont forget, you can trade your mini LEGO figures with any staff on property, including the at the front desk! They even have their own trading board ready to go!

The staff are always so kind and excited to trade LEGO figures with kiddos!

Now that we’ve discussed staying on property, let’s dive right into the event so I can give you all the details! Here are some of the main highlights from the holiday event that you WON’T want to miss: Visit the Holiday Village Postal Service to send your letters to LEGO Santa. Rock around the giant LEGO tree to holiday tunes. Take “elfies” with your favorite holiday LEGO Characters and don't miss ringing in the new year with colorful bursts of LEGO bricks fireworks over Lake Eloise at an earlier, kid-friendly, celebration time!

LEGO Christmas Tree- While visiting our seasonal FUNderland, build a new holiday tradition and gather around the GIANT LEGO Christmas tree! Be prepared to be mesmerized by the twinkling lights from our 360 degree light show! It is sure to be filled with festive fun from top to bottom!

LEGO Holidays Character Experiences- The LEGO holidays crew is back again for more merry meet-n-greets! See LEGO Santa, LEGO Gingerbread, Holiday Unikitty, and more! Don't miss your chance to add a little LEGO magic to the holidays with these awesome character experiences... and don't worry, they'll keep the elf antics to a minimum!

These two elves were hilarious, kind and so entertaining!

Seasonal Shows & Traditional Treats- Check out the delightfully dazzling holiday shows, Santa approved of course, throughout the park all season long! Also, why not try some holly jolly themed food and drinks too? Combine the two for an unforgettable holiday experience!

How impressive is this wreath photo-op in Duplo Valley?

We had an absolute BLAST at this holiday event, but I believe that the Holiday Village Postal Service was truly the most magical for my family! My girl was mesmerized by the elves and truly took her time writing out her letter to LEGO Santa. The attention to detail within this holiday experience was truly exceptional. The elves then discussed my girls letter with her, helped seal it and then helped her mail it in a LEGO mailbox. Behind the mailbox was a screen depicting the LEGO Santa receiving the letter which was truly adorable.

The elves inside of the Holiday Village Postal Service were remarkable and in my opinion, the best part of the entire holiday event. From their outfits, to the way they interacted with children, it was MAGICAL and my little family loved it so much! This part of the event is a ‘MUST!’

Kids New Year's Eve - Join in the festivities and celebrate the New Year early with rides, activities, and a whole lot of fun. Celebrate with an early fireworks display illuminating the sky and welcoming in 2023!
