Hosted: Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort
Alright guys, I can finally share a hosted stay on a Walt Disney World property with you all! While I have been hosted in various places around Central Florida, this would be my family’s first time being hosted with WDW! To say we were excited would be an understatement! As a Floridian who grew up in Central Florida, I have frequented WDW many times in my life and have also stayed on property many times as well. While my overnight stays have typically always been at one of the “value resort” properties such as All-Star Sports or Art of Animation, this would be my first time staying at a “Deluxe” level resort on WDW property! Let’s dive right into the details of this property and hosted stay, shall we?
[Descriptions and details of the property are taken directly from swandolphin.com. All opinions of the property and our time spent there during our hosted stay are 100% truthful and my own.]
Located in the heart of Walt Disney World, the award-winning Swan and Dolphin hotel is conveniently located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Once on property, guests can enjoy complimentary scheduled transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort every 15-20 minutes. You can either take a leisurely cruise on a Disney water taxi to Epcot or Hollywood Studios , or take the Epcot Resort Hotels shuttle bus to all other attractions and Disney resorts within Walt Disney World complex.
Did you know that the resorts are actually divided up into three separate, yet connected properties? It’s true! They are the: Swan Resort, Dolphin Resort and Swan Reserve. I’ll give you a quick run down of each and then focus on the Dolphin Resort since that Is where we are staying.

Now that you know all of the details of these three amazing resorts on property, let’s discuss our stay a little more in detail. First and foremost, The Dolphin DID NOT disappoint! From the moment you enter the gorgeous lobby, it’s hard to not be in awe of how beautiful this entire property is inside and out.
We not only had a beautiful “traditional” room which consisted of two queen beds, being absolutely perfect for my small family of three, we also had a functioning balcony off of our room. We loved that the balcony faced the boat pick up/drop off, the Swan Resort and even Hollywood Studios! We absolutely ADORED our balcony view and spent each night on it!
We also LOVED the amazing toiletry products and various helpful kits that were in the bathroom! I’ve never seen such a variety of helpful little kits given away complimentary like that before! From a shaving kit, to nail care, to sewing, shoe care and even a shower cap! I was seriously impressed!
Remember when I said this gorgeous property has 10 different restaurants and lounges? Yes, TEN. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy them all but we WERE fortunate to be able to spend time at “The Fountain Eats and Sweets” for dinner and the main lobby bar, “Phins” for cocktails each night! Just check out the amazing food and cocktails we enjoyed:
We also made sure to stop by the pool area to enjoy some of the fun games that are set-up before we took a boat over to Epcot! As mentioned above, the boats drop off about every 15-20 minutes or you could seriously just walk! Yes, walk! On our last day we decided to just walk through the Boardwalk to Epcot. It took us literally only about 15 minutes to leisurely walk from The Dolphin to the entrance of Epcot which was AMAZING! Don’t feel nervous or overwhelmed to just walk, I promise it’s worth it on a nice day, plus you get to check out all of the cute shops and restaurants on the Boardwalk on your way!
Let’s wrap this up, shall we? In addition to great amenities, incredible customer service, equally incredible food and cocktails and literally the best balcony view I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying while on Walt Disney World property, I have not a single negative thing to say about The Dolphin Resort! You can literally walk to Disney’s Boardwalk and Epcot in MINUTES or seriously just check-in at this resort to spend time at a gorgeous property that is jam-packed with everything you could possibly want. You simply can’t go wrong staying here!
Feel free to drop any questions about this property in the comments below, send me an e-mail or reach out to me on any of my social channels!
Another BIG thank you to The Swan & Dolphin Resort for hosting my little family! We had a magical time and can’t wait to return and also check out The Swan & The Swan Reserve properties sometime soon!
Until next time!
